Reflecting on the journey since launching Summit Coaching & Consulting on January 1, 2023, it's remarkable to see how far we've come. Entering our third year, I'm filled with gratitude for the incredible clients I've had the privilege to work with and the vibrant communities we've built together. This April, I'm setting an ambitious goal: to welcome five new clients into our fold, further expanding our collective growth and impact.
Building this coaching business has been an intensive endeavor, demanding countless hours of dedication and perseverance. Yet, I've never felt more energized or passionate about my work. This season of building is both challenging and exhilarating, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. The joy I find in this process reaffirms that I'm exactly where I'm meant to be.
Our community initiatives have been central to this journey. The Edge Skool Community Free Group has blossomed into a supportive space where individuals come together to share insights and encouragement. For those seeking a deeper engagement, The Edge Live Paid Skool Community offers structured coaching and resources tailored to facilitate significant breakthroughs. Our one-on-one coaching sessions provide personalized guidance, fostering profound transformations. The Peak Facebook Group serves as a hub for our one-on-one coaching clients, promoting continuous interaction and support. Additionally, The Summit, our free Facebook group, welcomes all who are on a journey of personal and professional development.
Our commitment to consistent engagement is evident through our weekly and biweekly Zoom calls and webinars. These sessions have become invaluable touchpoints, allowing us to connect, learn, and grow together. The Summit Podcast has further extended our reach, featuring conversations with inspiring individuals who share their stories and insights, enriching our collective experience. Being a guest on other podcasts and contributing through writing blogs have also been rewarding avenues to share knowledge and connect with a broader audience.
In February, I released my first book, Finding YOUR Edge. The process of writing a book was both agonizing and thrilling. I was humbled by the amount of people that turned out for the book launch, and how well received the book has been. It serves as a way to get to know me and provoke some inspiration in the reader. I think it is a creative way to weave my experience as a business owner with my endurance as an athlete into life and business lessons for all.
A highlight of our journey has been the successful hosting of two Edge Live events. These gatherings brought together individuals from across the country, fostering connections and facilitating impactful personal and business development.Witnessing the tangible benefits these events have had on attendees reinforces the importance of community and shared growth.
On a personal note, the past couple of years presented challenges with injuries and surgeries for both Wendy and I. However, I'm thrilled to share that recovery has been positive, and we are eagerly anticipating a return to the hiking trails this summer. Conquering many of Maine and New Hampshire's 4,000-footers is on the agenda, and the prospect of immersing in nature's beauty once again is invigorating.
As I navigate this path, I find profound fulfillment in helping others achieve their goals. Ironically, in filling others' cups, I find my own cup overflowing. There comes a stage in life where the desire to make a meaningful impact and contemplate one's legacy becomes paramount. For me, that legacy is rooted in the work I've done to uplift others. I aspire for my daughter to know that her father made a difference in the world, driven purely by the passion to serve, without expectation of return.
If you're seeking guidance, support, or a community to embark on your own journey of growth, I invite you to reach out. Let's set up a call to explore how coaching can be a good fit for you. Together, we can chart a path toward achieving your aspirations and unlocking your fullest potential.
Here's to continued growth, shared successes, and the adventures that lie ahead.
